Engineer/Architect 1/2 Flex (Utility Lead Engineer) in Anchorage to help us Keep Alaska Moving! Base Salary Information: Engineer/Architect 1: $3776.00 biweekly (OT Ineligible) Engineer/Architect 2: $4032.80 biweekly (OT Ineligible) What you will be doing: As one of the Utilities Leads within the Central Region Traffic Safety & Utilities (TS&U) Section you will oversee all utility-related activities necessary for utility permitting and the development of small to medium sized capital improvement projects that are proposed within the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities’ managed rights-of-way. Following a structured training plan, the incumbent will develop proficiency in the full range of utility related and supervisory duties, advancing to the Engineer/Architect 2 level. Minimum Qualifications Engineer/Architect 1 : Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect. Engineer/Architect 2 : Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect, and one year of professional experience as an Engineer/Architect 1 or Engineering Associate with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent.
