Supporting the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager oversees store operations, promotes a sales culture, and ensures outstanding guest service. Responsibilities include managing product displays, assisting guests, supervising staff, and maintaining store standards. The role also involves training staff, scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent guest service, respond promptly to inquiries, and promote store promotions. Support store environment, visual merchandising, and sales initiatives. Process transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle guest comments and escalate issues when necessary. Assist in training and supervising staff, providing feedback and recognition. Ensure staff completion of training and adherence to policies. Manage scheduling, payroll, and store cleanliness. Oversee inventory, shipments, and loss prevention. Support sales and operational goals, including administrative duties. Supervise staff in the absence of the Store Manager. Qualifications: Proof of legal work eligibility in the U.S. Minimum age 18; high school diploma required; degrees in business or related fields preferred. Retail management experience preferred. Knowledge of video games is a plus. Skills and Abilities: Outgoing personality with strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to stand, move, and lift up to 30 lbs. This position is ongoing.
