The Department of Oncology Research is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to contribute to the discovery and progression of small-molecule therapeutics. The successful candidate is expected to make major scientific laboratory-based contributions to the group goals and present their results in internal forums. Responsibilities
Experiments, record keeping, data analysis, and presentation. Primarily a lab-based role with minimal meeting burden. Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant scientific experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant scientific experience Preferred Qualifications
A strong skillset in standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc.) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism) Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility to work in teams to achieve changing project goals and meet timelines Must Have Skill
A strong skillset in standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc.) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism) Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Nice to have track record of research independence, strong track record of relevant experience Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $33.33 - $36.51/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
