Duration: 12months Job Description: Ideal candidate: PHD or M.S. with some experience (Academic or professional), cell culture & molecular biology experience. The Department of Oncology Research is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to contribute to the discovery and progression of small-molecule therapeutics. The successful candidate is expected to make major scientific laboratory-based contributions to the group goals and present their results in internal forums. Top 3 must have skills
A strong skillset of standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism) Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Nice to have: track record of research independence, strong track record of relevant experience Key Responsibilities
Experiments, record keeping, data analysis, and presentation. Minimal meeting burden. Primarily a lab-based role. Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant scientific experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant scientific experience Preferred Qualifications
