Product definition and system analysis: Provide the system and applications technical expertise for HiRel’s key applications to own Power IC investment area. Create, maintain, and prioritize our product idea backlog Create and maintain up to date competitive analysis Create product definitions with must have and differentiated value specs Analyze future technology trends and identify opportunities for improving performance and adding value to customers Relentlessly drive new design wins on our new products Act as the main technical interface on new products with customers. Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design team and customers. Bring quick resolution during project execution and customer support by interfacing across different functional groups such as design, applications, test, rad test, validation, verification, etc. Create technical collateral such as datasheets, system and application diagrams, application notes, evaluation boards, radiation reports, models, etc Build strong relationships with customers and FAEs by identifying and solving customer’s system level problems with IR HiRel products Support and train FAEs and sales on new and existing products Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good understanding of Aerospace and defense industry systems, applications and market Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to make decisions adopting to market trends Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment 5+ years of experience in product definition for power IC’s Proven ability to develop business cases and ability to guide the team and product line for addressing technical challenges for defining innovative & successful products Strong technical spec negotiation skills with internal and external customers 8+ years of experience in power semiconductors In-depth understanding of DC-DC power converter topologies and control architecture of voltage-mode, current mode and constant-on time control DC-DC converters In-depth knowledge of power management products, such as Point of Load switchers, linear regulators, load switches, drivers, PWM controllers, and solid-state relays Ability to take initiative and drive for results in alignment with the business strategy Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions including executive leadership Strong customer facing skills; experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions Strong power converter system/apps debug experiences in the lab, and proven ability to solve customers’ problems. System level circuit modeling with MATLAB, SPICE or Simplis Additional information
