This role is part of EY’s SAP practice and focuses on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). What You’ll Do
Your role is to bridge business needs and technical solutions, interacting with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and ensure implemented solutions meet needs. You will collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions and may travel to meet clients. Your Key Responsibilities Interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes. Analyzing newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements. Collaborating with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Participating in Explore phase design workshops. Performing configuration of SAP EWM and related SAP modules. Designing custom RICEF solutions and documenting functional specifications. Performing testing of solutions. Supporting development and delivery of training materials. Providing on-site hypercare support to client warehouse users. Demonstrating deep technical capabilities with strong business acumen and the ability to assimilate new knowledge. Consistently delivering quality client services, monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes. Establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Skills And Attributes For Success
To excel in this role, you will need a combination of technical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively. You will work with key stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, architect solutions, blueprint, test, document, and configure SAP and non-SAP systems. The following skills will have a significant impact: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in technology business requirements definition and analysis. Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis. Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively. Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor’s degree. Typically, 2 - 4 years’ relevant experience with SAP EWM. Strong technical skills in application functional design. Expertise in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Ability to build and manage relationships effectively. Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%. Nice To Have
Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience SAP certification(s). Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP EWM. Hands-on SAP system configuration experience. Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts. Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users. Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing. What We Look For
