Job Overview
Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated
Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager
to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading and optimizing AR operations within the healthcare revenue cycle. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to client success by improving denial resolution, accelerating cash flow, and driving operational excellence across the revenue cycle.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management: Supervise and mentor a team of AR supervisors and analysts; manage performance, productivity, and development. AR Operations Oversight: Oversee billing, follow-up, denial management, collections, and appeals; ensure timely resolution of outstanding receivables. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and deliver reports and dashboards highlighting trends in AR metrics; recommend improvements based on data insights. Process Optimization & Automation: Partner with IT and ERP teams to enhance RCM platforms (e.g., Epic); lead initiatives to streamline workflows and increase recovery. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with coding, patient access, compliance, and provider enrollment teams to ensure seamless AR operations. Quality & Audit: Maintain quality assurance processes and support internal and external audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance initiatives.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations; minimum 3 years in an AR leadership or management role, ideally in a hospital or provider-based setting. Certifications/Licenses: Certification in healthcare revenue cycle (e.g., CRCR, CHFP) preferred but not required.
Skills And Competencies
Revenue Cycle Expertise: Deep knowledge of AR workflows, insurance claim adjudication, and denial resolution. Epic Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Epic RCM modules and system optimization. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend strategic solutions. Leadership & Communication: Excellent team management and communication skills; adept at motivating teams and resolving escalations. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities and comfort working with large datasets and dashboards.
Additional Information
Travel: May require occasional travel depending on client engagement needs. Work Schedule: Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling based on project requirements.
At Impact Advisors, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of
$125,000 to $200,000.
For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms.
This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
