Part Time Recreation Leader III-Facilities Operations
The City of Alexandria is located in northern Virginia and is bordered by the District of Columbia (Potomac River), Arlington and Fairfax counties. The Recreation Leader III provides an energetic, organized, and clean environment while demonstrating a joy of interacting with participants in a safe and comforting environment. This position will understand how to organize and manage recreation rentals and party rentals. Responsibilities
Manage Facility Rentals, including creating bookings, following up with patrons, and ensuring data records are accurate and up to date. Assist with Aquatics Rentals, entry, management, staff coordination, and reservations. Assist with registration, data management, and recordkeeping. Assist with the administration and clerical needs of the programs offered. Day of Party/Rental Coordinator, organize and manage day of rentals and party set up and take down. Work closely with Recreation Coordinator to ensure timely rental transitions. Act as MOD and carry out MOD responsibilities when needed, including supervision of the facility and employees on shift. Requirements
High School Diploma and three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training. First Aid training.
