Site Leader - Cedar Rapids IA role at Vertiv. Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects Maintain working knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment in data centers, including Vertiv-manufactured equipment Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team (Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, Customer Engineers, subcontractors) Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and communicate technical requirements for the day’s schedule Lead and support start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects Ensure sufficient manpower on-site each day to perform start-up and site testing work Provide daily status reports to Service Management, Project Management and sales representatives Technical Responsibilities

Stay current on Vertiv equipment start-up, commissioning processes, procedures, and tools Keep up to date on Safety Bulletins, Field Change Notices and Service Tips Safety Responsibilities

Lead daily toolbox talks, pre-job safety walks, inspections, and timely corrective/preventative actions Adhere to all site and Vertiv safety policies Operate safely according to guidelines and wear required PPE Follow work hours policy and report work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours Model safety leadership and engage in STOP WORK authority and corrective/preventative actions Administrative Responsibilities

Adhere to Vertiv Warranty process in partnership with Project Manager Provide accurate and timely reporting (timecards, expense reports, mileage, SR/task closure, forms) Support Project Manager with obtaining technical data to maintain project systems Maintain company property (credit cards, PPE, test equipment, laptop, smartphone, etc.) Customer Satisfaction

Provide proper and adequate communication to internal and external customers Align daily Vertiv activity with customer expectations and resolve misalignments promptly Maintain customer satisfaction according to company guidelines Personal Performance Expectations

Prioritize Safety, Quality, Timeliness, Cost, Productivity Make timely technical and commercial decisions under pressure Maintain productive utilization rates and adhere to dress code and safety regulations Understand and follow startup/escalation processes Lead by example in line with Vertiv Behaviors and communicate at all organizational levels Handle stressful situations with diplomacy Qualifications

Experience (one or more): ASEET or ASMET preferred; equivalent industry experience in start-up/commissioning of power and/or HVAC equipment; six years military experience in related field; minimum 2 years in industrial construction management Interpersonal skills: Vertiv Behavior practitioner, strong organizational skills, independent operator, strong verbal/written communication, ability to build trusting customer relationships, collaboration under pressure, executive presence Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and blueprints Technical skills: site evaluation, COHE procedures, on-site leadership of technical activities, on-site customer consultation, start-up and site acceptance testing competencies Computer skills: MS Word/Excel, e-mail; familiarity with test equipment and data analysis programs; network familiarity Mechanical aptitude Working Conditions

Long-term assignments typically 4 weeks to 12+ months depending on project scope Travel may be required with a field rotation (e.g., 3 weeks on-site, 1 week at home office) Industrial new construction or retrofit projects; flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, holidays Valid driver’s license; deployable for emergencies Physical Requirements
