Senior Manager, Global Procurement Finance – Analytics & AI Focus Location: Northbrook, IL | Hybrid Role Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year Stepan Company is investing heavily in advanced analytics and AI to revolutionize our global procurement strategy. If you’ve spent the last 7+ years as an analyst in procurement, supply chain, or finance and want to roll up your sleeves, we want to meet you. What You’ll Do
Be the AI & Stats Guru : Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to procurement data. Spot trends, forecast outcomes, and drive cost savings with precision. Own the Analytics Roadmap : Lead the analytics tech stack evolution. Evaluate tools, manage RFPs, and ensure advancement in predictive and prescriptive analytics. Wrangle Complex Data : Work with large datasets, clean and enrich data with external sources to benchmark performance and uncover opportunities. Visualize & Communicate : Build dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Excel) for stakeholders across the business. Manage Tech & Vendors : Oversee procurement analytics platforms and vendors; ensure KPIs are met and relationships are productive. Report What Matters : Deliver high-impact analytics for executive meetings; own savings pipeline reporting and validation. What You Bring
7+ years as an analyst in procurement, supply chain, or finance Deep experience with large datasets and advanced statistical analysis Strong technical chops: Power BI, Excel (advanced), Python, machine learning Critical thinking and storytelling skills Experience managing third-party software vendors and implementations Bachelor’s in Finance required; Master’s preferred Note:
