The primary duty of the Construction Management Business Class Director is to provide strategic focus nationally on positioning HDR as a preferred provider for construction services specifically for the water infrastructure industry. The Director shall provide Business Group wide leadership regarding CM business development, project delivery and group leadership/communications. The role includes codifying best practices, tools, templates, protocol and other intelligence to sustain successful Construction Management delivery across the entire Business Group. This position reports to the WBG Service Delivery Director. Responsibilities

Business Development: Maintain market intelligence regarding industry competition, potential partners, acquisitions and/or new hires. Capture HDR and competition SOQs, proposals, presentations, scopes of work with associated fees. Ensure all regions maintain CM pursuit target lists and Client Maintenance plans relevant to CM delivery. Support capture planning efforts, preproposal visits, qualifications and proposal preparation to standardize HDR CM business development and client interaction. Provide marketing support on pursuits to elevate HDR’s selection hit rate. Maintain List of Major CM or PM/CM or OA/CM Projects. Maintain Tool Kit, related SharePoint sites and promote best practices/tools across the Business Group. Implement presentation/interview training workshops for all Senior Construction Managers. Project Delivery: Capture/disseminate relevant CM delivery lessons learned as necessary. Ensure use of HDR best practices, procedures, templates and protocol for more consistent CM delivery coast to coast. Work closely with other Business Class Directors on delivery of existing projects and developing long-term tactical plans for the water construction services program. Provide principal level project management and issue resolution when needed. Track/trend actual project delivery costs against budget and incorporate lessons learned into future scope/fee development. Maintain list of CM/CI resources and availability and provide CM resource planning across the Business Group. Lead PARR reviews (for projects entering the construction phase) and train staff to be Lead Reviewers; attend reviews as needed. Perform project site audits to ensure proper CM protocol and address owner feedback. Promote the use of the RAKEN Field Reporting App; manage HDR Technical Guidelines updates and license renewals as needed. Promote and administer use of Newforma Construction Administration (Newforma CA) software for managing workflows and dashboards. Serve as the WBG point of contact on CMIS questions. Update and maintain the HDR Construction Management Manual, CM Procedures/Forms & Field Checklists; ensure CM access/use across the Business Group. Construction Management Leadership and Communications: Reinvigorate the CM Practice Community, plan regular CM Practice Community calls and broadcast group wins and lessons learned. Collaborate with Field Services Communications Director, Construction Services Director, other CM Business Class Directors, SH&E Director, Field Services Client Development Lead, Project Controls Director, and other stakeholders. Lead CMAA engagement. Represent HDR as a CMAA member and coordinate related activities and nominations. Maintain list of HDR employees who are CCMs and encourage others to pursue the CCM designation. Ensure WBG CM staff development; maintain CM training plans, protocols and sessions. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 15+ years of experience in managing construction delivery programs for the water infrastructure industry. PE or related professional certifications are desirable. This position can be located in any US HDR office. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a professional, engineering, architecture or closely related field; minimum 10 years of experience in a related field; professional registration; experience in development and management of diverse teams; ability to work cooperatively with other leaders; commitment to quality and HDR values; active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture. The expected compensation range for this position is $163,422-$324,250 depending on skills, experience, education and location. Location and Schedule
