Public Storage is seeking a strategic, analytically driven Senior Business Analyst to join our high-impact Digital Delivery Team. This role is instrumental in bridging business needs with technology solutions, particularly in the context of enterprise FinTech and AI-driven innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, critical thinking capabilities, and a passion for solving complex problems through data and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
Lead Requirements Analysis:
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Apply critical thinking to challenge assumptions, uncover root causes, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
AI & Data-Driven Projects:
Partner with data science and engineering teams to define business use cases for AI/ML initiatives, such as predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and customer behavior modeling. Translate business needs into data requirements and evaluate model outputs for business relevance.
Drive Analytical Rigor:
Leverage data and analytical tools to evaluate business processes, identify trends, and support decision-making. Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform product and delivery strategies.
Model and Visualize Processes:
Create detailed process flows, use cases, and data models to clearly communicate requirements and system interactions across the SDLC.
Enhance Delivery Efficiency:
Identify and implement process improvements that streamline requirement gathering, validation, and handoff to engineering teams.
Governance and Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and artifacts to support traceability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Project Coordination:
Manage multiple priorities and timelines, ensuring key milestones are met and stakeholder expectations are proactively managed.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in business analysis, product strategy, or digital transformation, preferably in a FinTech or enterprise technology environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
Experience working on complex projects from a business perspective (e.g., defining use cases, evaluating outcomes, supporting adoption).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
Exposure to or certification in AI is a plus.

Public Storage teammates are expected to work in the office five days each week with the option to take up to three flexible remote days per month.
