Morning Walk is looking for a strategic and results-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to support both our internal initiatives and client ecommerce efforts in Chicago or Milwaukee. This hybrid, full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to optimize to and deliver results & shape the digital shopping experience through data-driven insights and creative problem-solving. What You’ll Do
Develop and execute ecommerce strategies to increase online sales, traffic and revenue. Plan, launch and manage performance marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, and Programmatic, with a focus on driving profitable growth for clients. Partner with creative, content and CRM/data teams to deliver conversion-focused online experiences, including product launches, promotional calendars, and product storytelling. Set up and monitor tracking systems using GA4, Meta CAPI, UTM – using appropriate 3rd party partners (i.e. Skai, Triple Whale, Rockerbox) with UTM parameters to ensure accurate campaign measurement and reporting. Monitor and analyze ecommerce KPIs—including conversion rates, bounce rates, AOV, ROAS, TACoS and customer retention—and translate insights into actionable optimizations, including A/B testing strategies. Audit client ecommerce sites and provide data-backed recommendations to improve user experience, conversion funnels, SEO, merchandising, and adherence to MAP pricing policies. Manage Shopify integrations, Google Merchant Center connections, etc. ultimately driving incremental sales lift, then generating performance reports to support data-driven decision-making. Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and incorporate ecommerce trends and platform updates into client strategies. Stay ahead of emerging tools, technologies, and best practices, serving as a strategic partner to clients in growing their online revenue. Maintain a high level of attention to detail, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact performance. What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of ecommerce experience, ideally in DTC and travel verticals. Proactive mindset and proven ability to manage and scale campaigns with a strong analytical mindset. Ecommerce expertise through hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax), Meta Ads, TikTok, Amazon Ads (PPC, DSP), Google Analytics, and ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) & Data and reporting (Rockerbox, Triple Whale, Skai, Looker Studio) tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate poise and professionalism. Ability to problem solve with grace and think outside of the box when navigating complex issues. Eagerness to thrive in a collaborative cross functional fast-paced, client-focused environment where driving results and delivering clear, effective communication strategies are paramount. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Fun ideas and teamwork mindset to an equally fun and dynamic team. Shopify fluency, including integrations, reporting, and catalog management. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
