The Supporting Lead, Strategic Growth – Enterprise Initiatives supports the successful execution of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that advance Advocate Health’s growth, innovation, and transformation goals.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Supports the execution of high-priority enterprise initiatives by managing assigned workstreams, coordinating tasks, and tracking progress toward milestones. Helps translate strategic goals into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables. Conducts structured research, synthesizes data, and supports development of business cases, dashboards, and presentation materials. Identifies risks and barriers to execution and partners with Director and project stakeholders to address issues proactively. Insight Generation & Analysis: Analyzes internal and external data to inform strategic recommendations, investment decisions, or performance improvement opportunities. Develops presentation-ready materials that clearly communicate findings, insights, and implications for executive audiences. Supports scenario planning, benchmarking, and modeling efforts as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with stakeholders across clinical, academic, digital, innovation, and operational areas to gather input, coordinate activities, and ensure alignment. Prepares materials for meetings with senior leaders and external partners and helps facilitate collaboration across departments. Supports Director in facilitating workgroups, tracking next steps, and ensuring accountability. Strategic Differentiator Activation (Support Areas):
May provide focused support in one or more areas of enterprise strategy execution, such as: Academics & Research – support efforts related to academic mission advancement, translational research, or clinical education. Innovation & Partnerships – help coordinate innovation initiatives and external partner engagements. Data & AI Enablement – support the development, rollout, or maturity of enterprise data and analytics platform. Portfolio Management – assist in maintaining initiative dashboards, reporting, and governance documentation for enterprise growth efforts. Minimum Job Requirements: Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Certification / License:
None Experience:
3–5+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, healthcare, innovation, academic health, or analytics. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-facing deliverables. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail. Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to learning and collaboration. Experience in academic medical centers, digital health, or data analytics is a plus. Physical Requirements And Working Conditions:
