SUMMARY

The

Manager, Instructor Development & Delivery

serves as a vital member of the IDQA team, driving the professional development of instructional staff and ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical training across Per Scholas' programs. With a primary focus on IT and Cybersecurity, this role bridges instructor development and classroom delivery, playing a key part in building instructional capacity and fostering a culture of excellence. This individual will support the design and implement instructor development plans, provide mentorship, and lead workshops to enhance instructional delivery and outcomes. They also act as an on-prem classroom substitute, ensuring uninterrupted learner progress when instructional coverage is required. With up to 50% travel to conduct on-premises training and provide hands-on support, the Manager, Instructor Development & Delivery is instrumental in strengthening on-site instructional delivery. They also extend guidance to remote instructors as needed, aligning all instructional practices with Per Scholas' standards. The ultimate goal of this role is to elevate instructor performance, certification success, and learner graduation rates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Instructor Development & Delivery Travel to various locations (up to 50% of the time) to provide on-premises training and instructor support. Serve as a backup instructor for on-prem delivery, covering classes as needed to ensure continuity of learning. Support the creation and implement tailored development plans to address individual instructor needs. Deliver instructor training workshops, focusing on technical and instructional competencies. Develop lesson plans and training materials to enhance instructional delivery. Provide mentorship and coaching to instructors to ensure alignment with Per Scholas' instructional standards. Conduct regular instructor observations to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the IDQA team to align instructor training with organizational goals and policies. Support the implementation of new instructional strategies to improve certification, graduation rates and workplace readiness. Provide actionable, constructive feedback to promote continuous instructor growth and success Support remote instructional efforts as required, ensuring alignment with the primary on-premises focus. QUALIFICATIONS

Certifications in IT or Cybersecurity fields (e.g., A+, CySA+, AWS, etc.). Proven experience as a technical instructor in IT or Cybersecurity, with a strong track record of success. Prior experience managing or mentoring instructional staff, with demonstrated ability to foster professional growth. Excellent lesson plan creation, workshop facilitation, and training delivery skills. Strong understanding of on-prem instructional and assessment strategies to drive learner success. Ability to adapt to on-premises and remote instructional environments. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%). PREFERRED SKILLS

Familiarity with Per Scholas' instructional methodologies and learner-focused approach. Proficiency in using data to inform training and instructional strategies. Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas). #LI-Remote

Salary range : This role targets a salary range of $65,000 - $70,000, with variations based on geography and qualifications/experience. QUESTIONS
