About the Role We’re seeking a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative Accountant to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting growth, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and fashion, contribute to high-impact projects, and help scale a dynamic, multi-revenue stream business. Responsibilities Prepare and manage monthly invoicing across retainers, partnerships, special projects, and events Maintain the general ledger and lead month-end close activities Create, manage, and track annual budgets and financial forecasts Deliver monthly reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and Aging Reports Analyze budget variances and provide summary feedback to leadership Compliance & Controls Ensure accurate and consistent application of US GAAP standards Implement and manage financial controls in line with internal policies and external regulations Partner with CPA for tax planning, filings, and financial audits Ensure timely and accurate tax, payroll, and compliance reporting Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor daily cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity to meet operational needs Prepare cash flow and financial activity reports for senior leadership Team & Operations Expenses, AP/AR, payroll, tax, treasury, and audit Support onboarding and other basic HR accounting functions Review and manage insurance policies and requirements Liaise across departments to ensure clear financial communication and understanding Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification (required) 4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a fast-paced, creative, or agency environment Experience managing multiple revenue streams and complex client billing models Strong command of accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Paychex or ADP is a plus Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams Required Skills QuickBooks Paychex (Payroll) Google Workspace, Slack, Asana Excel and Google Sheets Preferred Skills Experience in a creative or agency environment Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Paychex or ADP Pay range and compensation package Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office at our Beverly Hills location, 1 day remote.
