Accountant.
We are seeking a detail-driven professional with a knack for numbers, process optimization, and collaborative problem-solving. This role offers a blend of strategic and hands-on financial responsibilities, contributing to organizational growth and operational excellence. IN OFFICE MONDAY - THURSDAY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage monthly invoicing across multiple revenue streams, including retainers, partnerships, and events Maintain the general ledger and oversee all month-end close activities
Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial planning models Generate monthly financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Aging Reports Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to leadership Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain internal financial controls Collaborate with external partners on tax planning, filings, and audits Oversee AP/AR, payroll, tax filings, and expense management Monitor cash flow, prepare reports, and maintain liquidity for daily operations Support onboarding and HR-related accounting functions as needed Review and manage insurance policies and financial compliance requirements Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment and clear financial communication REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Active CPA credential Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a preference for candidates from dynamic, multi-client or creative settings Adept at managing complex billing structures and multiple revenue streams Skilled in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) Familiarity with payroll solutions like Paychex or ADP preferred Strong interpersonal, analytical, and independent working skills
