Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist Our award-winning Annapolis based Interior Design firm is currently seeking experienced AP & AR professionals to join our team.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable: Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payables; ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of all company invoices – merchandise, expense, utility and corporate credit cards; investigate, remedy and respond to AP-related inquiries from vendors and internal staff; maintain vendor database, including obtaining necessary documentation to add new vendors.

Accounts Receivable: Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable; process new client orders, generate purchase orders, invoice clients, track open AR balances and receipt/application of payments; arrange monthly meetings with sales/design staff to review outstanding and open business.

Qualifications Qualifications:

Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in an office environment. This position requires the ability to multi-task, extreme attention to detail and efficiently complete high-priority tasks. Applicants must be able to work with all types of personalities professionally and positively while maintaining a sense of urgency. Applicants must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and have the ability to learn new technologies. Experience with inventory control software and accounting experience is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred. Interest in the interior design field preferred.
