Overview
Origis Energy is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team headquartered in Miami's Brickell Financial District. The ideal candidate, reporting to the Director Accounts Payable, will perform accounting and administrative duties, supporting our business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, and expenses, as well as updating our accounting database. This position offers the opportunity to grow accounting knowledge and experience. The role is regular full-time and eligible for our benefits package. Key Responsibilities
Receive, open and scan invoices daily Data entry of Accounts Payable vendor invoices with appropriate expense, location and department coding Follow-up on invoice approvals to ensure timely processing and payment Handle vendor correspondence via phone or email Investigate and resolve problems in invoice processing Answer AP-related questions to internal/external staff or vendors Obtain proper documentation for new vendor set-up Maintain files and documentation in accordance with policy and accounting practices Assist with bank and check register reconciliations Prepare analyses of accounts and monthly reports Support external and internal audits as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting, Finance or Business Administration) or equivalent experience 3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience Basic knowledge of accounting principles Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel SAP experience strongly preferred Experience in construction/project-oriented environment is a plus Renewable energy experience is a plus Key Attributes for Success
