The
Accounting Manager
will oversee a team of accountants and partner closely with department leaders to drive accuracy in reporting and provide insights into business performance. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants while fostering collaboration and accountability Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and account reconciliations Partner with internal stakeholders by reviewing P&Ls and providing insights on performance Analyze variance drivers and prepare detailed, data-driven forecasts Review and improve system-driven accounting processes and ensure GAAP compliance Support audits, tax compliance, and special projects as needed Continuously identify areas for process improvement and optimization What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) CPA (active or near completion – 3+ sections passed strongly preferred) Strong grasp of financial statements (income statement, cash flows, balance sheet) Hands-on experience with
intercompany eliminations Prior leadership or people management experience preferred; must be able to grow and develop talent Previous
distribution or manufacturing industry
experience is a plus Systems knowledge: Microsoft Excel (advanced), Workday/Power BI a plus Seniority level
