The HT Group is partnering with a well-known, reputable law firm in search of
Billing Coordiantor II
to support the Billing Manager in all aspects of client invoicing, accounts receivable, and select accounts payable tasks. This role also handles new client intake and maintains accurate billing records and reports. Must have 2+ years of billing experience; legal experience preferred. Direct Hire | Houston TX 77027 (On-site) | $70-95k. Responsibilities
Prepare and process regular client, bond, legislative, and other specialized billing. Set up new clients, matters, and timekeeper rates; manage annual rate updates. Generate and review WIP and A/R reports, reminder statements, and monthly write-offs. Allocate client payments and monitor outstanding receivables, following up with attorneys as needed. Maintain billing databases, calendars, and department records. Handle manual expense entries, dormant account transitions, and month-end close. Support annual audits and other billing-related projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred. 2+ years of billing experience Legal billing experience highly preferred. SurePoint experience highly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Upholds confidentiality and collaborates effectively across teams. Client-centric and problem-solver mindset.
