Contract & Procurement Specialist
support for the corporate office. Responsibilities
Must be able to understand and interpret contract data. Advises staff of contractual matters; compiles and analyzes data/information; maintains historical information/files. Carry out customer and supplier activities to ensure proper contractual compliance and fulfillment per company policies/procedures, legal requirements, and customer requirements. Negotiate and oversee agreements with prime and/or subcontractors to include Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), consulting agreements, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Maintains timely customer (internal and external) contacts and communications to successfully address all matters. Coordinates with project managers on contractual obligations. Manage subcontract, consultant, and vendor contracts from award to closeout. Maintains internal company databases with contracts and vendor data. Obtain vendor and material quotes and issue purchase orders. Minimum Qualifications
4 years’ experience in US Government contracting. Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, other agency regulations and commercial practices. Experience in Contracts / Subcontracts / Procurement Management for DoD programs. Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience in SharePoint administration and development is a plus. Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a government security clearance. Other Attributes
Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on delivering quality/timely customer service to internal/external customers. Self-Starter. Timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work.
