Position Title:
HR Director Wage:
$110,000 - $150,000/year We are partnering with a multi-site organization in Rockford, IL to staff a HR Director position. Our client is seeking a strategic HR leader to align people, performance, and culture with business goals. This Director will partner closely with senior leadership to drive talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. This is a full-time, onsite role that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package in a collaborative and supportive environment.
HR Director Responsibilities
Advise senior leaders on people strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
Promote a high-performance culture and drive engagement
Deliver leadership development, training, and change management programs
Design competitive, equitable rewards aligned with business performance
Ensure legal compliance and support a respectful workplace
Streamline HR processes and leverage data to inform strategy
Requirements for HR Director
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field (Master's/HR certification preferred)
10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least five years in a senior HR position
Expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in manufacturing, distribution or supply chain highly preferred
