Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Portfolio Management – Property Dispositions will assess Walmart’s portfolio of properties to identify opportunities to dispose of excess land and buildings, asset manage income-producing properties and otherwise monetize real estate assets. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize value, maintain property listings, and ensure that real estate actions align with company goals and priorities. What you’ll do
Assess the company’s real estate portfolio to identify and execute opportunities for property disposition, asset management, and monetization. Collaborate with operators, finance, attorneys, civil engineers, real estate portfolio managers, brokers, and other stakeholders to drive projects forward. Maintain and update property listings on the Walmart Realty website. Prioritize recommendations and actions based on the benefit to customers, associates, and shareholders. Prepare materials and present projects to committees for approval. Manage brokers to negotiate deal terms and oversee deals through to closing. Maintain a portfolio disposition database, tracking project status, projected dates, and financial terms to ensure accurate forecasting of land sale gains, property availability, and transaction volume. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy. Evaluate the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives, consult with business partners, and participate in community outreach events to ensure business needs are met. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or related field and 3 years’ experience in real estate, retail development, tenant representation, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in real estate, retail development, tenant representation, or related area. 2 years’ experience in property management.
