The Regional College Access Manager (RCAM) is responsible for promoting awareness of, and access to, postsecondary pathways. The RCAM builds the capacity of middle and high school partners, higher education institutions, and community practitioners in their assigned regions to deliver college and career access supports. The RCAM provides practitioners and partners with the training, tools, and technical assistance required to increase the number of students who understand and access financial aid and postsecondary pathways. The RCAM specialist provides schools and community-based practitioners with the ability to:

Enhance college and career readiness support services to CSF mission-population students in middle and high school.

Help students successfully navigate the financial aid processes required to access financial aid and postsecondary education. Regional College Access Manager are required to use data to identify which schools and community-based practitioners within their region have the highest-need for support and collaborate to improve postsecondary pathways and financial aid awareness in middle school, and completion of required financial aid forms in high school. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Director of Statewide Initiatives, CSF colleagues, and partners to develop and implement strategies that drive increased FAFSA/WASFA completion rates. Partner with Director, Statewide Initiatives to identify schools and partners with the highest need for College Bound support, by reviewing relevant data and indicators. Partner with CSF staff to promote awareness of Washington state aid programs, such as College Bound, among middle and high school students. Support CSF events related to promoting college and career SupportthedevelopmentandregionalimplementationofCSF'soutreach,engagement

and

communications plan that effectively advances mission-population student

support. Develop and maintain school and community-based partnerships required to maximize the number of students who can access financial aid opportunities. Engage with staff from schools, districts and community-based organizations to identify support, training and/ortechnicalassistancerequiredtopromotecollegeandcareerawarenessandfinancialaidaccessin their schools and districts. Shareeffectivestudentsupportstrategies,inpartnershipwithCSFstaff(when

relevant). Participate in community events and conversations about financial aid awareness and college preparedness andincreaseregionaladoptionofpromisingmission-populationsupport-service Support promotion of partner trainings, workshops and presentations. Support the maintenance and accuracy of school, district and community-based contacts(database or other system). Participate in the collection, input, and fidelity of metrics/milestones and other data as required.
