The Associate Director, Sales Analytics – Specialty will lead business insights and field strategy for the Specialty sales team. The role will operate with diverse data sources, vendors, and stakeholders in a rapidly changing business environment. It reports to the Director, Commercial Analytics – OAB and is part of the Commercial Analytics team. The position partners with sales, finance, and market access leadership to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable insights across the commercial organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a critical role in enhancing sales and market access offerings by developing integrated insights from data and information to shape and inform field strategy and tactics. Develop and prioritize key business questions with cross-functional support from sales, finance, market access, and other partners. Manage development and delivery of strategic field KPIs and supporting metrics for monthly field leadership reviews. Contribute to the financial planning process by providing insights and assumptions for annual and long-range forecast planning in partnership with commercial leadership. Lead alignment, targeting, call planning, and segmentation projects for the Specialty field team in partnership with other Commercial Analytics leaders. Develop strategic partnership as the main point of contact for the Specialty field leadership team and support for the Market Access LTC team. Oversee analytic ad hoc project requests related to the Specialty sales team. Key Core Competencies
Strategic thinker able to translate big-picture opportunities into actionable plans. Excellent written and oral communications skills with executive presence in stakeholder presentations. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, SHA, MMIT/DRG formulary and market access data). Understanding of how brand payer access impacts sales strategy and field pull-through tactics. Experience developing analyses with Business Intelligence tools and methods (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, SQL). Collaborative team player with good stakeholder management. Project management skills and experience managing external vendors/deliverables within tight timelines. Ability to partner with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into workable solutions. Change agent mentality capable of introducing new ideas and ways of working. Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree Minimum 8–12 years (without Master’s) or 6–8 years (with Master’s) of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry Previous sales or marketing experience preferred Previous sales analytics experience (with SQL) preferred Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $155,440 to $194,300. Base salary is part of our total rewards package, which includes potential merit-based increases, participation in a short incentive plan, eligibility for a 401(k) plan, and medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances. Our time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, additional time off for a year-end shutdown, and 80 hours of paid sick time annually.
