Your Role As a Senior Designer at CJ+C, you'll lead teams to deliver exceptional design projects, leveraging your creative vision and technical expertise to guide projects from concept through completion. With over 10 years of experience, you're a recognized leader in design-driven projects, excelling in user-focused experiences and empowering clients to bring their visions to life. What You Will Do Lead assignments spanning conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Provide strategic design leadership, focusing on project organization, production, and execution. Foster seamless collaboration with internal and external teams, professional consultants, and strategic partners. Embrace an inside-out and outside-in design philosophy, contributing to iterative design processes with team members, using a wide variety of tools to communicate to the team and client, including hand sketching and 3d tools. Craft compelling visions for proposals and strategies for interviews to secure project opportunities. Mentor junior designers, leading multiple projects with excellence while collaborating with design and technical staff. Build and sustain strong client relationships. Work closely with your team and across the firm to promote an interdisciplinary design approach, upholding CJ+Cs commitment to design excellence and technical innovation. Your Qualifications Registered Architect required. Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited university required. 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background in diverse project typologies and scales. Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts and their rationales. Skilled in addressing client needs, budget constraints, architectural opportunities, or challenges impacting design concepts. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications. Skilled in Revit, + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software and Adobe Creative Suite. Exceptional graphics and visualization skills to effectively convey design ideas. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with key stakeholders. To be considered, please provide a current portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format.
