Overview

We are seeking a Lead Superintendent for Luxury, Commercial Projects (Restaurants, Spas, Clubhouses, etc.). This role reports to the owner, GM, and President and offers autonomy to lead a team with years of commercial construction experience. Salary

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Hiring, supervising, directing and supporting project managers and superintendents, as well as the support teams in purchasing, estimating and accounting Mentoring and building project teams to maintain high morale and productivity Implementing best commercial construction practices and introducing a strong software platform Complying with and enforcing all safety and security policies and procedures Overseeing planning, pre-construction, permitting, bidding, budgeting, construction and delivery of upcoming commercial club buildings and amenities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality Managing all plan development phases through Construction Documents, coordinating with architects and engineers Leveraging planning and estimating teams to develop reliable budgets and project timelines Ensuring complete and accurate project scopes and specifications for budget and cost control Reviewing and approving RFI and submittal logs in a timely manner Participating in value engineering and evaluating solution viability Overseeing permits and approvals, including local, state, and federal requirements Overseeing subcontract awards, execution, and timely release of POs to meet construction timelines Directing Purchasing/Estimating to ensure contracts and POs comply with company policy and lead times Updating progress reports and communicating with senior management and ownership Reviewing and negotiating Change Order requests with trade partners and suppliers Maintaining the master construction schedule Overseeing project closeout, punch lists and final delivery of commercial projects Supporting project managers and superintendents in daily activities and timeline management Providing weekly status reports on construction schedule, buyout, procurement, contracting, and PO acceptance Participating in monthly ownership meetings and weekly meetings with commercial and land development teams Collaborating with contractors and legal counsel to resolve concerns or disputes related to commercial projects Managing project risk exposure and proactively addressing unforeseen time and budget impacts Reviewing and approving work completion and pay applications from trade partners and suppliers Reporting incidents and unsafe practices to management and managing related processes Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management and/or 15+ years of related experience on commercial projects Current general contractor license Experience managing commercial projects of $20+ million Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with trade partners, vendors, and employees at all levels Extensive knowledge of construction practices, software systems, scheduling and cost control Working knowledge of construction law and practices Knowledge of construction costs to oversee purchasing/estimating with budget development and management Strong negotiation and leadership skills Ability to identify deficient plans and provide resolutions Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to proactively plan for risks to meet or exceed deadlines Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, plans, and specifications Proficient in Microsoft Office; Procore knowledge is a plus How to apply
