Supply Chain Specialist
for a
6-month contract
role. This fully onsite position supports procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure optimal stock levels Process purchase, sales, and shipment orders Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing Coordinate logistics and track shipments Support demand forecasting and inventory planning Identify and implement process improvements Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies Qualifications Associate degree + 2 years in supply chain/logistics (steel industry preferred) OR 4 years of relevant experience (including 2 in supply chain/logistics) Strong analytical and communication skills Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, ERP, and supply chain systems Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Work Environment & Physical Demands Office setting with occasional exposure to production areas Frequent computer use and communication May require lifting up to 20 lbs and prolonged sitting or standing PPE required in manufacturing areas Schedule : Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Details:
$22.00 to $28.00 per hour
