The Senior Property Accountant will oversee accounting functions for assigned commercial properties, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts. Complete reconciliations and ensure accuracy of property accounting records. Enter accruals, reclasses, and request disbursements. Provide preliminary financial reports for review. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth operations. Manage close calendar for assigned properties. Perform CAM reconciliations and calculations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 3+ years of property management accounting experience. Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
