Job Title Maintenance Sales Associate

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Prospect for new accounts and maintain existing client relationships.

Develop sales presentations and follow through with each client and opportunity.

Seek out and research prospective client opportunities through various methods (phone solicitation, personal visits, conferences, Internet, existing relationships).

Collaborate with the Vice President of Business Development, Director of Sales, Director of Maintenance Sales, Branch Manager, and team members to review and improve account programs and processes to meet objectives.

Maximize sales growth, volume, and client profitability in the Local Market Area through analysis and solution-based programs.

Identify customer needs and discuss Mesa solutions; prepare proposals and presentations.

Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections using EMCOR/Mesa templates and pricing models.

Develop sales at defined margins to attain market share while ensuring profitability.

Interact professionally with maintenance sales team members and other EMCOR/Mesa departments (Operations, Chiller teams, Project Management, etc.).

Commit to growth as a Sales Professional by attending product and sales training events.

Meet written annual sales plans.

Other duties as directed.

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline preferred.

2+ years’ experience in HVAC commercial, chiller, or maintenance service sales preferred.

Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.

Financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.

Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.

Independent decision making is required.

MS Office 365 required; strong Excel skills.

Valid driver’s license and operating vehicle for business use; MVR requirements apply.

Ability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods; ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights.

Compensation Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
