Position Summary
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing to implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards and procedures; monitor associate compliance and support documentation. Identify concerns and take corrective action or make recommendations to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting training and development. Respect the Individual: build high-performing teams, embrace differences, and foster a sense of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected. Work collaboratively to build strong relationships, communicate with impact, energy and positivity, and motivate and influence others. Responsibilities include implementing the business plan for area of responsibility, communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and achieving facility goals such as production, quality and safety. You will monitor productivity, prepare and analyze reports, ensure associates are trained on policies and procedures, monitor compliance, and document procedures. You will identify concerns and work with others to determine corrective actions, supervise and develop associates and leaders, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching and evaluation of staff. Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field with 1 year supervisory experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience, OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience, OR 2 years supervisory experience Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings) Preferred Qualifications
