Job Description:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to support a range of cross-functional initiatives, including custom product development, data integrity efforts, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) integration, and CADRG production support. This role will be centered around designing and implementing automation strategies to streamline operational workflows, improve digital data transfers, and enhance the delivery of GEOINT products across the enterprise. This role is ideal for those who have a strong analytical mindset for pinpointing inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
This role will act as a technical lead in the automation of GEOINT workflows spanning multiple functional areas, the optimization of digital data movement, and the modernization of production pipelines. Qualifications
Hands-on experience moving and manipulating data across applications using ELT techniques with Excel, Access, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Experience with Python and relevant Python libraries including Pandas and Geopandas Experience using Python to automate complex workflows and integrate with cloud services Experience with objected-oriented programming languages Data and Database experience:
database administration and cloud-based data management relational databases and web development tools, including API integration Experience designing structured queries and database functions for large datasets. Background in data mining, normalization, and structured/unstructured data analysis.
Deep knowledge of GEOINT products, data formats, and satellite imagery systems Experience with one or more software platforms: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server Experience with one or more libraries: ArcObjects, Model Builder Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex details for any audience Relevant experience and a BA/BS degree (a mix of professional certifications and training may substitute for direct years of experience). Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a CI Polygraph. Preferred Skills
Background in data visualization, including network analysis, matrix analytics, and graph-based methods that help generate operational intelligence products. Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications.
Experience using AI/ML for feature extraction, data enrichment, and predictive analytics
Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community operations. Familiarity with multi-INT and technology-focused research in support of mission activities. Experience maintaining GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT datasets relevant to mission priorities.
