Lead with Purpose – Direct Facility Operations to Ensure Safety and Excellence
East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing, a 117-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking an experienced and dynamic
Maintenance Director
to oversee all aspects of our facility’s maintenance and safety operations. This leadership role is perfect for a hands-on professional with proven management skills, strong technical expertise, and a passion for creating a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Be Doing: Direct and manage the daily operations of the Maintenance Department
Supervise, train, and support maintenance staff to ensure effective performance
Oversee general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
Develop and implement preventive maintenance and safety inspection programs
Manage and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and life safety systems
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local building codes, health regulations, and OSHA standards
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized services
Oversee emergency preparedness and ensure staff are trained on response procedures
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and equipment inventory
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolutions
What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership experience in maintenance or facility management (healthcare/skilled nursing strongly preferred)
Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems
Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop a team
Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on safety and compliance
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments
Availability for occasional evening/weekend emergencies as required
