About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to the store format, location, and global and regional strategies. You lead the full store team to excel, create an inclusive culture, promote collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit, and identify the store’s strengths, opportunities, and competitors. You analyze and follow up on sales and create plans to optimize results and profits. A Day in the Life

Responsible for the total Omni customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to the store format environment, global guidelines and regional strategies Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions Establish, analyze, and follow up on sales and budget goals, and create plans to optimize results Ensure personal customer service is provided in all areas of the store, guiding customers through fashion stories and actively selling products Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives Schedule to budgeted hours in line with sales budget and activities Maintain correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges Identify commercial opportunities and act on them, maintaining competitor awareness Manage store maintenance cost-efficiently Ensure all admin routines for people and operations are handled correctly Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers Ensure the team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions Understand the local area, customers, competition, and fashion trends Team & Development
Lead talent and performance management in the store – recruiting, onboarding, upskilling, and developing the team Complete performance evaluations and succession planning to support business needs Retain and share knowledge and skills with the team Collaborate with Area team and store leadership, including VMs Plan and schedule the team Communicate regularly to inform, motivate and inspire – daily/weekly meetings Ensure procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements are followed Participate in onboarding and training processes relevant to the role and development Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial presentation, with garment care Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation Support daily opening and closing routines and processes Ensure garment cycle and fitting room routines meet standards using tools and technology Utilize in-store services and tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store) Maintain price signs according to global and local strategies for strong price perception Update and maintain BOH areas with key information and safety standards Who You Are
