Head of School (High School Principal) LOCATION:
Must be able to commute to the Little Rock, AR campus daily. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Commence July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Compensation will be prorated based on the hiring date and successful completion of the background check. Benefits package offered. Responsibilities
The Principal will provide educational leadership in developing and implementing school goals and objectives, ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment, supervising all school staff, managing school resources effectively, and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members. Provide instructional leadership to support effective teaching practices and implement strategies to improve student achievement Develop, communicate, and monitor a shared vision for the school that aligns with district goals and objectives Supervise, evaluate, and support professional development for all instructional and support staff Manage school operations, budget, and resources to provide a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local educational requirements, policies, and procedures Analyze student assessment scores and achievement data to identify needs and implement strategies for continuous improvement Foster positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members Lead the development and implementation of school improvement plans and initiatives Collaborate with district leadership and other principals to ensure consistency in educational practices Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities, special programs, and school events Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Education Administration, or related field (required) Valid Arkansas Administrator License with Principal endorsement Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience Prior experience in school administration preferred Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Proficiency with educational technology and relevant software applications Ability to perform in an indoor office/classroom environment with some physical requirements including sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of light objects Benefits
