Our client, a well-established, NJ based civil engineering firm with apx 50 employees is seeking a seasoned

Office Leader / Principal

to further advance their presence in North Jersey as well as New York. The firm specializes in a diverse range of projects, including single-family and multi-family residential developments, industrial warehouses, data centers, commercial, and retail spaces. This leadership role offers the unique opportunity to further advance an established, but young office, leveraging the firm's strong reputation and resources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and project delivery within the civil engineering sector. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a strategic plan for the new office, aligning with the firm's overall vision and goals. Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and expand the firm's presence in the Eastern Pennsylvania market. Project Oversight:

Lead and manage a portfolio of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. Team Building:

Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and support staff. Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day office operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Licensure:

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ. NY PE license would be an added bonus. Experience:

Minimum of 15 years in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Business Acumen:

Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management. Technical Expertise:

Extensive experience in land development projects, including residential, industrial, and commercial sectors. Leadership Skills:
