The Department of Management at the Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management to begin August 2026, depending on funding approval. The Anderson School of Management is AACSB-accredited and offers a range of programs including BBA, specialized Master's degrees, and MBA tracks. The school emphasizes collaborative student learning and diverse methodologies. Teaching responsibilities for this position include undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management, Business & Society, International Management and related topics. Minimum Qualifications:
Earned doctorate or strong prospect for completing a doctorate in Strategic Management or a closely related field by August 2026. Preferred Qualifications:
Strength of preparation and promise of scholarship in strategic management or a related discipline; ability to teach core and elective management courses (e.g., Strategy Management, Business & Society, Sustainability Business, International Management); evidence or promise of excellence in collegiality and collaboration; commitment to understanding the cultures of New Mexico and serving the university’s mission.
