Total Wine & More is seeking a Lead, Store Operations to join our Store Operations team in our Bethesda, MD office. You will drive operational efficiencies by implementing technical and business process enhancements that improve store productivity and reduce costs. You will lead the Physical Inventory process, overseeing planning, training, scheduling, and execution, while also analyzing financial and operational data to inform key business decisions. This role requires strong leadership, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance store processes. Lead the internal Physical Inventory team of 20 Inventory Managers (IMs), managing planning, scheduling, execution, and process improvements. Analyze financial and operational data, translating insights into actionable strategies that enhance store operations. Develop clear and concise store communications, ensuring accurate policy updates and process documentation. Collaborate with corporate, field, and store teams to collect and analyze feedback, identifying opportunities to remove barriers and enhance store performance. Design and deliver training sessions to end-users, ensuring proper execution of new processes and business solutions. Travel up to 25% of the year to stores. Weekend and evening work may be required. Bachelor's Degree preferred 3-6 years of corporate retail experience leading physical inventory processes, including training, coordination, and execution, or 3-6 years of experience in store operations, working with systems such as SIP, X-Store POS, or Apex. Strong leadership skills with experience managing large-scale inventory processes and coordinating cross-functional teams. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, report development) and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, capable of developing training materials and delivering presentations to store teams and leadership. Self-directed and highly driven, demonstrating a strong business sense and professional presence in all interactions. We offer
