The Regional Sales Manager will engage with and grow BigID's business within the US Army and Defense Agencies, developing an ecosystem of customers, partners, OEMs, and systems integrators. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience selling enterprise-level data or security products to Federal customers through a strong network of customer connections.

What you’ll do

Territory strategy — build and execute a smart, well-informed plan for the business.

Operate in a startup environment with a high level of motivation and urgency.

Identify and remediate barriers to customer and BigID’s success with a resilient, positive approach.

Brand ambassadorship — articulate the value we bring, how we do it, and why we are different.

Leadership — lead and align the extended team and resources around capturing and expanding customers.

Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned to the missions of top prospective customers.

Leverage a strong network to engage across much of the US Army and Defense Agencies market, prioritizing high-level access.

Operational excellence — reporting, forecasting, and sales execution.

Direct an inside sales team and marketing to develop new business opportunities.

What you’ll bring

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present to technical and executive-level stakeholders.

8+ years of OEM field sales experience selling to the US Army and Defense Agencies market.

Proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure software licensing deals with prospects and customers in the US Army and Defense Agencies market.

Experience selling complex enterprise software solutions and the ability to adapt in fast-growing and changing environments.

The annual base salary range is $150,000 – $165,000. Actual salaries vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of our compensation philosophy. Variable/Bonus Compensation and Equity Incentives align with individual and company performance.
