Lake Barkley State Resort Park-nestled in the scenic beauty of Cadiz, Kentucky-is calling Plumber Licensedprofessionals who want more than just a job. With miles of trails, relaxing amenities, and breathtaking lakeviews, this park is a nature lover's dream and a hidden gem for hospitality.
Functioning duties would include the install, removal and repair of plumbing equipment, lines valves andpumps. Duties would also include inspecting lines, fixtures, valves and equipment. Carrying out preventivemaintenance program and schedules, maintaining records and reports. This is a wonderful opportunity for aperson with a plumbing background.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Repairing, installing and removing plumbing equipment, lines, fixtures, valves and pumps. Inspecting plumbing equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance program. Maintaining records and reports. Purchasing inventory and needed supplies. Assisting the maintenance department in various other maintenance duties for the park. The Plumber Licensed will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Skills and Expectations include but are not limited to the following:
A team player with strong work ethic and a passion. Ability to stay calm and focused on making our park better. Dependable, trustworthy, and ready to learn. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be licensed as a journeyman plumber by the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. https://dhbc.ky.gov/ https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/chapter.aspx?id=38833 Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
