As a Senior Technician, you will: Support the modeling and updating of transmission lines (69kV to 550kV) using GIS tools and, where applicable, PLS-CADD. Apply remotely sensed data (e.g., LiDAR) to existing transmission line models and mapping workflows. Assist with data management, quality control, and spatial analysis tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with engineers and analysts to integrate GIS data into design and planning efforts. Requirements: Our skills and experience wish list includes: At least 1 year of relevant experience in GIS, remote sensing, or transmission line engineering support. Familiarity with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, or PLS-TOWER (preferred but not required). Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and CAD tools (MicroStation experience desirable). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
