Overview

Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Hybrid Work Options) – The role supports the Water Services Group within the Technical Services Unit (TSU). Reports to and partners with the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership, drive initiatives aligned with corporate objectives, mitigate organizational risk, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Acts as an advisor to business leaders on talent initiatives, employee relations, compensation, training, and other HR programs impacting the business unit’s objectives. Responsibilities

Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to managers and employees across designated regions or divisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide HR strategies, policies, and programs. Administer a broad range of HR functions including employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, engagement, workforce and succession planning, employee development, performance management, organizational development, HRIS, recruitment support, and relocation. Identify and escalate emerging HR trends and issues, supporting workforce planning with business leaders; conduct workforce reviews, identify high-potential talent, implement succession plans, and refine workforce strategies to meet evolving needs. Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters; manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and discrimination concerns; provide policy guidance and seek legal counsel when necessary to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Partner with other HR teams to address organizational challenges and recommend innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Advise managers on performance feedback strategies to support employee growth and development. Lead or contribute to HR initiatives, projects, and program development efforts to drive organizational effectiveness. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the HR function and the broader organization. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree; 5 years of related experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency depends on duties and workload. Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. Additional Details

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range Minimum: $77,667; Pay Range Maximum: $128,128. All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply. Other benefits are as per company policy. Travel:
