Staff Accountant Compensation - $65-80K/ year Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Staff Accountant
with at least 2 years of accounting experience. This role will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to grow their accounting knowledge while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation Assist with audits by preparing supporting documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles (GAAP) Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (corporate or public) Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems Familiarity with reconciliations and financial reporting processes Employment Type:
