Overview

We are seeking a

Direct to Consumer (D2C) Domain Architect

to lead architecture strategy for a global enterprises digital transformation agenda. This role will translate business and transformation strategy into actionable architecture, evaluate new technologies, and guide the design of scalable solutions across D2C initiatives. The Architect will connect the dots between technology capabilities and business needsenabling personalization at scale, AI-driven marketing, and modern consumer engagement platforms. Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve the

north star architecture

for the D2C domain (consumer engagement, personalization, loyalty, digital marketing). Partner with transformation leaders to align business strategy with technology strategy; provide architectural guidance from

directional strategy through execution. Evaluate technologies and ensure demand assessments and new initiatives align with enterprise architecture governance. Maintain domain reference architecture, identify portfolio rationalization opportunities, and transform legacy tech into modern, scalable solutions. Support and guide solution architects on active programs, ensuring consistent, integrated solutions across the enterprise. Build and replicate

reference implementations

that sectors can adopt globally. Influence business stakeholders through strong storytelling and structured problem-solving, ensuring architecture enables innovation and AI-driven use cases. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred). 10+ years of technology experience, with at least 3+ years in

solution architecture. Strong knowledge of

consumer engagement processes

(first-party data capture, segmentation, loyalty, personalization, paid/owned/earned media). Experience with

Consumer Data Platforms (CDPs), data integration, AI marketing platforms, and marketing automation. Understanding of technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, loyalty platforms, and consumer insights tools (hands-on expertise not required, but ability to connect solutions end-to-end is critical). Proven success in influencing stakeholders, simplifying complex problems, and aligning teams on strategic architecture. Strong storytelling, executive communication, and trusted advisor presence. Ideal Background

Enterprise-scale experience in

consumer goods, retail, or large-scale D2C organizations. Experience driving

AI-enabled marketing, personalization at scale, and digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of retail media networks (e.g., Amazon, Kroger) and how consumer insights can drive marketing innovation. Whats in it for you
