Job Description – Logistics Coordinator

The

Logistics Coordinator

is responsible for supporting the daily execution of both domestic and international logistics operations. This role involves shipment tracking, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely deliveries. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and update shipment schedules; follow up with carriers, warehouses, and transport providers to confirm status and resolve issues.

Prepare, review, and process shipping documents, invoices, and certificates in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with sales, operations, warehouses, and external logistics providers to ensure smooth execution of deliveries.

Maintain accurate logistics data and records in SAP/ERP systems; ensure documentation is current and compliant.

Verify inventory levels as needed to support shipment planning.

Provide administrative support for client requirements including labeling, recordkeeping, and documentation.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments and documentation; escalate complex issues to management as appropriate.

Track and reconcile freight invoices; collaborate with finance for timely payment processing.

Assist in preparing reports related to logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.

Support issue resolution including complaints, claims, and shipment delays.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field ; equivalent experience accepted.

1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or administrative support.

Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems ; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
