Required education
• Bachelor's degree (with no experience) OR
• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience (instead of a degree)
Required skill • Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Job description • Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle at the San Antonio manufacturing facility (Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs). • Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. • Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in the enterprise system. • This is a plant environment requiring steel-toed shoes and a no-jewelry policy. • The schedule is transitioning to a 4/10s work week (Monday-Thursday).
