• Location: Belleville, Illinois (62226) – near St. Louis, MO
• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Locum Tenens/Travel Nursing Job
• Facility: Magnet-designated Acute Care Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (06:45 – 17:15)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2440-$2510
• Call Requirement: 4-5 weeknights and 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float: May float between Belleville and Shiloh campuses
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in U.S. healthcare settings
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proven experience independently scrubbing across multiple surgical service lines
• Strong competency in cardiac OR procedures and ability to adapt to surgeon preferences
• Preferred experience in endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries
• EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from Belleville, IL

Key Responsibilities for OR Registered Nurse

• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room as both circulator and scrub nurse
• Independently scrub and assist in cardiac, endovascular, neuro-spine, ENT, orthopedic, and robotic surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights and weekends as scheduled
• Float between Belleville and Shiloh campuses to support patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
