Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,306 per week in Somerset, KY

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience Description: This position involves providing physical therapy services during home visits. The therapist will also attend periodic office meetings. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Agency-required liability insurance is necessary. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value. Contractors are expected to achieve approximately 30 points per week. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Ups. Travel distance is required to be up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Contractors must be open to accepting every patient scheduled. Declining patients may result in cancelation. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed documentation impacting billing and patient care will also result in cancelation. The position does not guarantee hours. Weekends may be required, depending on the location and profession. No on-call duties are expected for this role. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Candidates must be comfortable with potentially longer drives between patients.
