This position offers the opportunity to work on complex antitrust and competition matters involving government enforcement, merger review, and strategic counseling across a wide range of industries.
Candidate Profile
JD
from a
top-tier law school
with
e
xcellent academic credentials
Active Bar Admission
in the
District of Columbia , in good standing
35 years
of substantive experience in
antitrust law
Background in
counseling ,
investigations , and/or
litigation
under
federal antitrust statutes is required
Experience preparing and managing
Hart-Scott-Rodino
(HSR)
Act filings
is strongly
desired
Prior experience with a
government agency , such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, is a
plus
Soft skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on complex
antitrust issues
related to
mergers ,
acquisitions , and
joint ventures
Assist with
merger clearance processes , including
preparing HSR filings
and coordinating with regulatory authorities
Support
investigations
and
enforcement actions
before the DOJ, FTC, and other global competition agencies
Conduct antitrust
compliance counseling ,
risk assessments , and
internal investigations
Collaborate with litigation teams on antitrust
disputes
and
defense
matters in
federal
and state courts
Contribute to thought leadership and client education initiatives on antitrust and competition developments

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation : Includes an annual salary range of
$260,000-$365,000 , commensurate with experience, along with a generous
